This mixed media body of work reflects my early sensibilities, shaped by the influences of the rich fabric of the interwoven cultures and traditions of Byzantium, Islam and Ancient Greece I was exposed to as a child. The work has a strong three-dimensional presence and seeks to create a concrete manifestation of the spiritual connection with the atmosphere of the past.
