This body of work reflects my early sensibilities that were shaped by the influences of the rich fabric of the interwoven cultures and traditions of Byzantium, Islam and Ancient Greece to which I was exposed to as a child. The work has a strong three-dimensional presence and seeks to create a concrete manifestation of the spiritual connection with the atmosphere of the past.
