Phaedra defies the existing order by lusting after her stepson and is, like Medea, an outsider. Taking the Minoan labyrinth as a visual symbol alluding to Theseus and the Minotaur, but also to her entrapment within her obsession, I juxtapose text to give voice to her side of the story.
