I have always lived in cities. LOST CITIES is a series of works relating to memory and place, the past and its resonance. The series is intended as a journey of rediscovery, a "mapping of the heart", starting in Istanbul, the city of my birth - lost to me when I was a child - found in dreams and golden memories, through to Athens, schooling and dislocation, and finally to London with all its layers and stories.
